1976-1977:  Received an undergraduate scholarship from Hellenic State Scholarships  Foundation
1976: Received an international internship from “The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience” (IAESTE)  at Comfort Co., Barcelona, Spain.
1977-1978: Received a final year student scholarship from the Technical Chamber of Greece.
1992: Member of the organizing committee of the symposium titled “The city of Serres’ architectural expression.Tradition and creativity”.
2001-2003: Co-Editor of the Journal "Σερραϊκά Ανάλεκτα” [Serres’ Annals] published by the Municipality of Serres.
2001: Member of   the committee of a Panhellenic Architectural Competition for the design of  a mall at Serres' s city center.
2001: Received honorary diploma for outstanding contribution in the implementation TEI of Serres campus.
2003: Chairperson of the organizing committee of the 12th Pan Hellenic  Conference of Academic Libraries.
2005: Honoured by the Municipality of Serres for my contribution in the edition of the city's historical guide.
2007: Honoured by UNESCO (Branch of Serres) for the management of the TEI of Serres Academic Library.
