Lila Theodoridou –Sotiriou has been a member of the Department of Geomatics & Surveying since 2001. She joined T.E.I. of Serres in 1985 as a faculty member at the Department of Civil Engineering to which she remained until 2001.
Professor Theodoridou’s main research interests include architectural historiography on the early 20th century and urban planning for small and medium sized cities.
She has also held various administrative positions at T.E.I. of Serres. Mrs. Theodoridou served as Dean of the Faculty of Applied Technology and Head of the Department of Civil Engineering. She participated on the university committee, which designed the new university campus. As part of her role in this committee she was involved in the development and management of the campus' new buildings.She also served as supervisor of the Library's project.
Mrs. Theodoridou received her Ph. D.  from the National Technical University of Athens and her M.Sc. from the Bartlett School of Architecture and Planning at University College of London.  She also holds a Diploma in Architecture from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
