Constantine DAVID, is Professor of Mechanical Engineering Department in Technological Education Institute TEI (University of Applied Sciences) of Serres, Greece. He is Head of the Laboratory of Manufacturing Technology & Machine Tools and Vice President of the Serres Applied Research Center. During his professional and academic career he has worked for Mercedes-Benz Company (1990-1991) in the Department of diesel engines production, Mannheim, Germany. He was research Assistant in Mechanical Engineering Department of Technical University of Kaiserslautern, Germany (1992-1997) and Research Fellow in Mechanical Engineering Department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece (1997-2000). In year 2001 he has joined the Mechanical Engineering Department at TEI of Serres, as Assistant Professor. He was appointed Dean of Engineering School of TEI Serres in years 2005-2010. His scientific fields of interest are focused on Manufacturing Technologies, Machining Processes and Machine Tools, Reverse Engineering, simulation techniques based on CAD/CAM/CAE systems, MaterialsTesting & Characterization. He has published over seventy papers in International Journals and Conference Proceedings and he has participated in numerous research projects either as main researcher or as project coordinator.
